Basketmouth and Dakore to host Nollywood Movies Awards 2013

BasketmouthandDakore Egbuson-Akandewill host this year’s edition of theNollywood Movies Awards.Organizers made this knownrecently while reeling out plans for this year’s activities for the awards which is in its second year.The award will hold on Saturday, October 12, 2013 atIntercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The nominees will be unveiled onSeptember 7, 2013 at The African Bar ofThe Oriental Hotel, Lekki.The movie awards show which debuted in June 2012 will add six new categories:Best Short Movie, Best Child Actor, Best Soundtrack, BestSet Design, Top Box Office MovieandBest Diaspora Movie.‘We plan to make this year’s award show bigger and better’, Executive Director, Alfred Soro says.The last time we saw Dakoreand Basketmouth on stage together was at the 2008 edition of The Headies (known then as HipHopWorld Award).
